Advice needed new secondary in year 9

Our dd has started a new secondary on Wednesday in year 9. Before we started we were told that as she's been learning French they do do have a few duel classes which they try and get her into.

When she started on Wednesday she came home so happy that she'd connected with a few people and is happy where she is at although she felt a bit lost doing Spanish 3times a week having never done it before.

She meets her form class ever day, however then this form class is split into 2 groups and they follow their own time table. So regularly meeting new kids from other form groups that are split. Hope this is making sense.

The school got in touch today and said that they feel she would be better suited in a form group which does French and would like to move her. To me it makes complete sense. However our dd is saying she doesn't want to move as she feels settled. She's only been going 3 days. The move now would be good rather she then feeling she needs to do it later.

What should I do. Leave her or mover her.

Get her a Spanish tutor so she can catch up and leave her where she is if she's happy.

It's not an indie school in North London is it as my daughter's school has the same set-up in year nine and quite a few new people joined 😂
