I mean if it’s just celeb gossip then so what, I don’t care. But news is often very serious things that can affect our lives.

I just can't see that it would be a 3 year investigation for celebrity gossip that has already been alluded to so many times over the past couple of decades so I can't help think there must be more to it than that. I guess we'll see soon enough. I hope whatever it is brings an end to celebrity worship though, people need to stop idolising people they don't know and viewing them as someone more "special" or powerful just because they're on TV, they're just other humans and some of them are going to disappoint. I don't think celebrity worship is healthy anyway, Ian Watkins springs to mind!

I’ve been a subscriber for most of my adult life after being recommended by my constitutional law lecturer of all people! Now I pay for Mondays newsletter too, just because I want to support what they do in a small way, as well as being incredibly nosy.
I hope that this isn’t a dead cat to distract from another one of the group of extremely well protected journalists just because of their previous paymasters or party alliance. Poor Huw Edwards, if they needed to throw someone with fragile mental health under a bus, at least it should have been to distract from a current party grandee who could have made our lives even worse, rather than allegedly a political has been’s interesting wedding alongside a wannabe Piers Morgan ( with even less integrity) and a couple of potentially criminal alter egos.

So Brand outed himself himself before dispatches aired. That's a certain twist on it.
