Is Friday the best day of the week?

It’s definitely my favourite day of the week.

What are Fridays like in your house?
I work a four day week so my weekends officially start on Thursday evening 😂
DC has an after school club so there’s no stress trying to get there for normal pick up time which helps enormously.
Takeway nights are usually Fridays, but not tonight as we’ve got to clear the fridge as we are away for the weekend.

Do you like Fridays?

Hell yeah!

I work in a hybrid way but I really try to make Friday a WFH day and to log off on time (by 5 if I can). Then pick the kids up, relaxed tea, glass or two of wine knowing we can have a lie-in. Bliss.

It’s a great feeling isn’t it?
DH is a hybrid worker, but only really goes into the office on Wednesdays so is almost always home on Thursdays and Fridays which adds to the weekend feeling for me as he tends to log off around about 4 on Fridays.

Any nice plans for the weekend?

Pottery painting with the kids tomorrow. Then just chilling with a film. Walking the dog. Not much at all but those are my favourite kinds of weekend.

My favourite day is the day before the last day of the working week.

It means you still suffer but it will end soon and you can imagine how great the weekend will be.

Don't talk about it with your psychologist though.
