Manky apples uses

What can i do with all the rotten apples that fall from the neighbours tree? Ever single one has ( what looks like) disease on it. Can i dig them into the soil? Use them for anything else garden related? At the moment every single one is just going in the garden bin.

If you dig them into the soil, you'll end up with an apple copse.

I'd put them in the green bin, or hand them back to your neighbour.
