Autumnal bedding sets

Has anyone seen any? Last year I got the DC wintery/Christmas bedding from lidl (or aldi..) navy fleece with white snowflakes, deer, wintery trees etc.

I'd love to get them an autumn version, preferably fleece or brushed cotton/soft. And cheap!

I've just treated myself to the M and S 'cosy edit' brushed cotton duvet set which is an oak leaf pattern in grey. I've already got it in green!

Thank you! I'll have a look at M&S.

I bought this last year and it is lovely - but be warned, it is very cosy indeed - too hot for anything but full on winter in this house (but fantastic then, so warm).

@Sarvanga38 So maybe skip the accompanying hot water bottle then? 😁

😂

My husband changed our bedding a few weeks ago, when it was very warm. I went upstairs and he'd put this on, so I had to get even hotter changing the bloody bed again. I accused him of trying to kill me. 😂

I read these kind of threads on awe. I wish I would be the kind of person who buys seasonal homeware, I love the sound of changing things up and embracing a new season.

But I see ££ and think, nah, I've got two duvet covers already.

For those who do buy seasonally, do you not have stuff from last Autumn?

Can I ask too, when's a good time to start using Xmas bedding for kids?

Butteredtoast55 · 15/09/2023 18:13

@WhisperingHi My Christmas bedding is a lovely cream and red job, and I've had it for years but it literally goes on for the 12 days of Christmas and that's it!
I got the other in the sale last year and thought it would be perfect for autumn and spring, and it was. The new set is for my birthday 😊
It's never too early to start the Christmas bedding habit...it does keep you warm and snuggly so it depends whether your DC like to be cool or snug.

Bemyclementine · 15/09/2023 18:15

@WhisperingHi 😂😂😂 I'm really not that person, you'd be surprised at the state of my house. The winter sets for dc were £11 each from Lidl. I've never done autumn bedding before, if I do they will be used now til start of December when the winter set goes on.

How about this sort of thing? Asda do lots of great duvet cover patterns - always worth a look as they're reasonably priced and quality is ok - I love my cockapoo one I bought recently!

Thats lovely! DC2 though wants soft - fleecy or similar. I might have a look for myself though thanks

Have a look at La redoute

Oh I love the idea of seasonal bedding etc. But I have a duck egg coloured bedroom so none of the autumn stuff would look right! I'm tempted to change my curtains and lamp shades to neutral colours so I can accessorise for any season Grin

Try dunelm. They have every design under the sun in there...
