When can I eat?…

Had lower wisdom tooth pulled a week ago. I’ve had no solid food since then. Very straight forward extraction, not especially painful or caused any problems. Socket is healing well but there’s obviously still a hole. I’m scared to eat in case any food gets stuck in there 😭
I miss eating properly.

If you were me, would you risk eating something?
Google gives mixed answers, often saying it takes people over 3 weeks to get back on to solid food 😳 but I’m assuming that’s for people who had a more complex surgery. Mine was a simple pull at the dentists.

Help… I need food

Grated cheese sandwich on soft white bread. Maybe with some tomato chutney.
Soup and bread.
What have you been eating all week? When I had an extraction I was eating the above and other soft foods after 2-3 days. So I think you would be fine at this stage.

I’ve been eating root veg mash and chocolate mousse 😆 delicious but boring now! I miss variety. And crisps. I miss crisps.

I suppose mash is kind of a solid food? 🤔 there has also been soup. Bored of soup.

I had mine out - top wisdom tooth though - about 5 years ago and ate solid food the next day, just very carefully, cut up small, chewing on the other side. I felt sorry enough for myself without living on soup and shakes for days Grin
