What Fast Foods Do You Miss?

Used to love BK mushroom double Swiss burgers ( with Emmental) & have never recovered from McDonald’s no longer doing breakfast bagels. Can’t be doing with the muffins!

I am South African. When I return to visit, within days I am:

  1. at Steers (a sort of wimpy style burger place) for chips
  2. At Spur (a family friendly steak/burger place) for their chicken burger with cheese sauce (I'm pretty sure there's very little actual chicken, or actual cheese in it.... but sooo good)

Any saffas on here will feel me! Grin

Over a mcd breakfast this morning (breakfast roll no sauce, icky sweet bun, egg smaller than bun, so many fails! etc) with 15yo we were complaining to each othrr about the loss of bagels! Damn you covid lockdowns (when they first disapeared).

When did the McDonald’s big breakfast stop? Admittedly it had a muffin which isn’t my fav but I loved the scrambled egg, sausage patty & if I remember rightly the hash brown. Often treated myself on the way to college.

It was only available once for a few weeks in around 2008/2009 but it was amazing!
