Can you use Bluetooth headphones on a plane?

got DS Bluetooth headphones for his first flight so he can watch things and play games on the iPad, but have just realised switching the iPad to airplane mode switches off bluetooth
the iPad doesn’t have a standard headphone Jack so I’m guessing I’ll have to get some kind of adaptor if not

I think you can just turn bluetooth back on. Like if you're on a plane with wifi you can turn the wifi back on.

Yes you can, you can turn Bluetooth on when it’s in airplane mode.

On my iPad , with BT already off, airplane mode turns off wi-fi.
I can then turn BT on by itself.
