Full fat Greek yoghurt vs keffir

Is one better than the other for health? Or of a muchness? I know there's a lot of buzz about keffir but wondering if you get same benefits from proper Greek yoghurt? I buy the super thick one from m&s

Kefir is a natural probiotic, and it is similar to buttermilk in its texture. It helps digestion and fights several bacteria. Greek yogurt also has some natural probiotics, but the consistency is thicker, and the taste is very fresh. Greek yogurt is richer in proteins than kefir. However, scientific research shows that, overall, kefir is better.

Greek yoghurt - with live bacteria is better than without. Kefir is fermented which has benefits for the gut too.

You could buy kefir one week and greek yoghurt the next, the gut loves variety after all. I mainly buy greek yoghurt but sometimes I will get some kefir instead or as well.

I put a little bit of each in my smoothie each morning.

I do a bit of both - full fat for fullness, kefir for good bacteria.

I eat both pretty much every day. For protein content (both) and gut health (kefir more). I’m trying to cut down ultra processed food so switching out protein bars/shakes and replacing with kefir/Greek yoghurt and nuts.
