Dentures in my 40s /help

I had all my bottom teeth removed. I have just had a denture fitted. I only got it yesterday. Its really hurting to take in and out. It feels like a blister being rubbed. And another pain that I can't explain. Once I have it in place its not so bad but it takes a few mins and I want to rip it out.

So once they are in after about 5 mins my jar starts to really ache. I feel like my jaw is weight lifting. Is this normal?

You should leave them in for the first 2 days, even overnight, as much as you can stand. It keeps the swelling from extraction site from becoming to big, and also helps the clots from extraction stay in place.
Unless the extraction was a while before the denture was fitted? In which case, try using pollygrip or other adhesive as itll act as a cushion between gum and denture. I imagine that the wierd achy feeling is because youve become used to shutting your mouth differently, and should pass soon.

Yeah it's 2nd part. I have not had botton teeth in ages. I'm a bit scared if using poly grip. As they are really hard to remove even without it. Maybe your right. My jawbone feels to big.

I did wear it in bed last night as I thought my jaw might relax better but then something happend and I panicked.and pulled them out. Can't remember why I panicked though 🤔

When I had my teeth removed I had temporary bottom dentures. I could not wear them at all it was awful. Theses ones are much better fit wise. I also have 2 implants on the bottom jaw which the denture will soon be attached to. But I wanted a few weeks to get used to the denture first.

I also have partial dentures top and bottom, I use the glue on the bottom ones, try the glue, it won't stop you removing them it just makes them more stable. Bottom dentures are much more difficult to get on with that top ones, I never use glue at the top and barely notice they are there
