Severe bladder pain/pressure

I think I may have a UTI/cystitis but I'm unsure.

I've had many bouts of this a few years back but always had the burning when peeing, I haven't had any kind of burning and stinging this time.

But I have unbearable bladder discomfort. It feels like I am bursting for a wee, even when I've just been. A constant feeling of so much pressure and nothing is providing me relief. Any tips?

Is it possible to have a UTI with just bladder pain and no burning? Could this be something else?

Trying to speak to my GP is like trying to get blood out of a stone. I have antibiotics I'm picking up tomorrow via private Superdrug pharmacy that I did online.

I have a disabled toddler that I care for alone and the thought of another night like this is horrifying 😢

I had a UTI where I had blood in my urine and my bladder would feel like it was being squeezed every time I urinated. It was so uncomfortable.

I didn't have any burning.

I really hope it is a UTI because at least the antibiotics will (hopefully) get rid of this awful feeling!

I have ongoing uti problems and never have burning when weeing. It's a combo of pressure, frequency, urgency, sometimes pain in bladder. You don't need burning when weeing to be a uti.

Nothing will help as much as the meds but I've found a hot water bottle to be soothing with a UTI and painkillers

I had something that felt just like this but I tested neg for uti so no antibiotics from dr and no explanation. It went on for weeks.

I tried everything from chemist, with no joy. In the end 3 things seemed to work but I can't be sure if it was all three or one of these as did them all at the same time! But worth a shot:

  1. 1 a night garden of life Vaginal probiotics from Amazon but 2 first night.

  2. taking high doses of alicin max capsules (like 6 twice a day) also Amazon. (My hunch is this was key to killing bacteria causing the issue).

  3. I saw a chiropractor & explained what was going on and he did an adjustment to my pelvis that seemed to help.

I hope you can get it sorted. It's the worst feeling. You have my sympathy.

D mannose powder from Amazon. Can take along side antibiotics

On day 3 of antibiotics and no change. Struggling with this feeling. Going to try other suggestions and just pray it goes away soon.
