DD lips swelling and dry....

Hi my DD17 came back from a holiday in America with dry puffy lips. I thought maybe they were sunburnt. It went away for a bit but keeps flaring up. I have no idea what it is. She hasnt eaten anything different
Any advice please? Im going to get her a doctors appointment hopefully tomorrow

Reaction to make up / lip balm? I find my already sensitive skin is more sensitive when I fly due to how dry it is in planes. I have reactions to stuff that I've never had reactions to on the ground.

The aircon in the US might make the air rather dry - like heating does in winter. Does she have a blocked nose? Either of these could give rise to chapping.
