How are these things appearing in my calendar?

I have an iPhone, I don’t use the calendar in it for anything, nor do I have a shared calendar with anyone. Bought the phone brand new from apple 18 months ago.

So, how are these appointments appearing in it? I have no idea where they’ve come from!

I'd guess that the SIM you've got used to belong to someone else, if you're sure it's a brand new phone

I bought the phone from the apple shop and got the sim from the Vodafone shop. It’s the first personal phone I’ve ever had, I’d only ever had a work phone before.

Have you got a shared calendar option turned on, maybe with one of your colleagues?

I don’t work. And I have no idea why Nancy is. And I’m really hoping I don’t need dating tips!

It's spam, apple calendar is auto-adding events from a connected email but rather than helpful things like flight times it's taking it from spam
