Can my sky TV get hacked ?

When I'm looking through my sky channels I keep coming across programme set to record. But I don't watch any of theses programmes. That's no way the kids have done it, they don't watch them either. They really just use the apps you tube/disney+

I thought my sky was picking up the neighbours recordings a few months ago there was random recordings, we deleted them and switched the box off and back on again.

My virgin used to randomly record things it thought I might be interested in until I turned that feature off. Does Sky do the same?

I've not had Sky for ages but when we did have it the box used to record random things, I think it was a "suggested recordings" section
