Thorpe Park to London

Taking teens to Thorpe Park next week and they won't want me with them so thought I'd could head into London for the day after dropping them off.

Is there a good place to park and then get the train into London? I've been looking at Feltham where it's £15 for 7 hours parking. Or is it better to try to get the tube, Elizabeth Line by Heathrow somewhere?

Just park at Staines rather than feltham, train takes your to Waterloo.. there is paid parking
int the station, but you could always try the side streets , the very close ones have resident parking but the further away ones don’t, and it’s only a short walk then

I was having a look at Woking as well, not sure if that's any good? Or if there's a good nearby shopping centre that would probably be ok

Or, it's less than 10 mins drive to Egham station. You could probably park in the residential roads near there, eg Rusham Park Avenue. Or there is parking at the station. Only 35 mins to waterloo. Wouldn't go anywhere near Heathrow.

You could use the Just Park app to book a residential driveway close to the station. Cheaper then official car park but its guaranteed.

Oh yes Egham looks nice and quiet, parking charges a bit more reasonable!

I lived there for years, quite near the station!
