Why do you feel so weak after being sick?
Does everyone feel like this?

You probably have a virus and your body is fighting it off. I hope you feel better soon. X

Yes it’s normal. You’ve been I’ll, are short of fluid, lower on nutrition that usual and your body is using all its energy trying to fight infection.
Rest, stay hydrated, eat small nutritious meals and you will feel much better in a few days.

It's quite an effort for your body to vomit. Think of the muscles used in your stomach and the force it takes. It's like an unpleasant workout.

You also have lost energy and water which you need to replace. It's no wonder really that we might feel shaky and weak.
