Wax melts

Hey,

What do people use to keep their room smelling nice? I was gifted a box of Yankee candle wax melts and they smell great at first but only last about 1 day for me before the scent just doesn't go far at all. Am k doing something wrong?

I am coming to the end of the box and am wondering what else I can try.

Thanks!

The Fabulosa ones from B&M are strong and last well. I think they're about £2.50 for 8 segments and I love the coconut lime breeze one.

Otherwise you'll find most of them a bit crap after a 4-8 hour burn. Here for recommendations!

I love the wax melts from Glass & Wick. Lots of gorgeous scents, my favourites being Sea Mist and Driftwood, and Fig & Vetiver which they don't seem to be selling currently. They do change their scents quite often

I use scentsy ones. They seem to last quite a while.

They do plug in burners as well as other scented things like hanging scent discs and also bath/body items.
You can usually find a local rep on Facebook etc.

I use Matty’s melts, candles and their reed diffusers. They last for ages, the reed diffusers easily last 4+ months.

Devon wick are amazing.

My favourite are Scentsationals. You can buy them in Asda. They are the ones I find have the strongest lasting fragrance.

PointerSister · 12/09/2023 22:14

Scentsy are amazing - they smell lovely for ages. https://scentsy.com/ and you can order online. I only use one cube at a time and they do last a long time 🤩

I am somewhat of a wax melt connoisseur and I don't believe you can beat the scentsational ones. They're usually £5 for 3 packs when offer in Asda and they have by far the strongest throw.

I get all my candles and wax melts from Kip Candle Co. I'd never go anywhere else again! The spiced orange they do at Christmas is my favorite ever

They make me cough unfortunately whereas reed diffusers don't. I'm jealous of people who can use them. I have tried a few in another room but apart from the Yankee candle baby talc ones I used for a baby shower which scented the room for days they just disappear scent wise in minutes.

ShadyPaws · 12/09/2023 22:57

I only ever use these and often burn for 3-4 days and still scent well

I order my wax melts from Wax & Unwind. They’re great. But I prefer scented candles. My favourite brand is DW Home which you can find it Homesense.

BlueWhale47 · 13/09/2023 20:44

Ooh thanks! Will buy a selection and try them out. Any particular scents anyone would recommend?

I buy from a company called Teddy and Eva.

You can buy sample pots for £1.20 or packs of 6 squares for £4.99. They last about 16 hours per square - I tend to burn one per day and change scents daily.

Costalatte · 11/11/2023 18:38

Try cosy aromas, their melts last for days and smell amazing! cosyaromas.com

shamelesss · 11/11/2023 18:50

I use a diffuser, the oils from the white company are my fave

MadMadMad · 11/11/2023 19:28

I also agree scentsationals from Asda, they last a couple of burns per square with a really good throw.

Normally I would agree but they have recently changed their packaging and the shape and size of their melts and I have been quite disappointed, I don’t think they are as good as they used to be, the packaging is now open to the air and I’m sure this is diminishing the scent, I won’t be buying again.
