Quick help needed please - should you brush your teeth after Zoom at home whitening trays?

DS had Zoom whitening at the dentist yesterday and has been given trays to continue the treatment at home.

He has just put the first trays in but the instructions don't say what to do when you remove them - should he brush his teeth with toothpaste or just rinse with water to remove the gel?

Any help gratefully received if you have experience of using Zoom - I have googled and watched youtube videos but there doesnt seem to be a straight answer anywhere.

Pretty sure you just rinse. The enamel may be softened by the process and brushing may damage it.

I use strips and clean my teeth about 1 hour before - then have nothing but water until the strips and then just rinse after.

Thank you - we did this and checked with the dentist today who confirmed it was right!
