Last minute night away, v rare

DH and I have a chance to have a v rare last minute night away this weekend. We need to be back fairly early the next day so can't travel too far but would like to make the most of it and go somewhere special. Had a difficult time recently so happy to spend some £££ and treat ourselves. Would be v grateful for any recommendations. We're in Hertfordshire but thinking of London. Thanks so much

What do you mean? Recommendations for hotels or places other than London? When? Or what to do…help us out here!

Night away this weekend. We live in Hertfordshire but thinking of booking somewhere in London as there aren't really any nice hotels locally. We'll probably have dinner and a few drinks and then stay over. I did look at Beaverbrook but it was £1400. We're happy to spend a bit but not that much! TIA
