Lovely scented essential oil for steam diffusers

Braindeads · 12/09/2023 19:15

I have bought a set of floral oils from Amazon but they smell odd and artificial/ chemical when I use them in my steam diffuser.

Can anyone recommend a fresh, clean scent I can use? Would a lemon or grapefruit scent work and be fresh and uplifting without being chemical and cheap / artificial smelling?

Thanks

Try bergamot. Not the 'fragrance' but essential oil.

Lemon goes a bit musty, imo.

Try Baldwins essential oils which you can order online. They are good quality and have a huge range which you can experiment with

Geranium is my favourite - really fresh and clean smelling without being like laundry or fruit

I love bergamot too, reminds me of a posh spa. I like the Neals Yard oils and room sprays (think it's the one called balance).

Another vote for Bergamot or Lemongrass.

Samarkand Musk, simply amazing!

You're buying fragrance oils and not essential oils - which is a problem because they could be carcinogens- it's just like you used washing liquid (which people do Grin)

So, essential oils only (but be careful if you have pets)

If you have cats there are a few you can’t use so check
