Really struggling to know what to get my parents for their ruby wedding anniversary. It's literally less than a week's time (yep, very last minute).
They are very chalk and cheese. My dad likes anything football, cricket, music, days out, weekends away.
My mum loves gardening, knitting, baking.
The only things I can think of they actually have in common are weekends away (usually in the UK) and their grandchildren.
I don't want to get a nice plant as it wouldn't interest my dad at all. Neither would any sort of engraved ornament I don't think. They don't drink much. I've got them a nice outdoor clock (which my mum asked for) but just want to get them something else.
Help !
