About 9.45 last night I started to get an excruciating pain on my left side of my stomach. It still hurts now. It’s at the front and back and both are incredibly painful. I cannot find a comfortable place to sit or lay. I’ve had about an hours sleep. I’ve vomited aswell.

I’ve maxed out on painkillers that I can take at home… I was tempted to call 111 last night not long after it started, but dh said there wouldn’t be any point as they wouldn’t send anyone out for stomach pains for an hour.

Im so uncomfortable.

14 and a half hours later I’m finally in a bed. Still unknown to what it is, but they wanted to give me somewhere to sleep for the night.

Sympathies, @Soubriquet — when I had my first kidney stone, DS was only four months old (self-neglect and not drinking enough water), and it was waaay more painful than labour.

Mine always present first as a niggling back twinge, though, that then escalates into full-blown screaming on all fours agony. That first time I spent eight hours in an overcrowded A and E before getting any pain relief, and was then discharged after a night on a trolley. Hope yours is resolved.☝

Still in hospital. Still not sure what it is but they are determined to get my pain under control so that’s good

After 8 days in hospital, I’m still recovering but I feel a lot better. It turned out to be

Pancritis
Dudoitis
Inflamed bowel
Irritated stomach lining

So yeah…all at once. I’ve got to go for another endoscopy next month and also a colonoscopy to try and work out why this all suddenly happened. And I mean it was sudden. I was fine and then bam it all just hit.

What happened ? Any update
