A question about private schools...

Something that has just occurred to me. There are a ton of private school threads on Mumsnet- but I have never seen one about, for example, NLC or CLC or Roedean. Where do girls go? Are girls schools easier to get into? What's going on?

There aren't many threads about Harrow, Eton or Winchester either, because if you're considering them you probably mostly already know the ins and outs. The threads are usually non school specific or about less prestigious ones that might be a more unknown quantity.

I think it depends what you want.

You aren't going to CLC or Roedean if you want academic excellence.
Also if you want day schools they won't be high on the list.

Girls schools aren't necessarily easier there are over 150 applicants per place at my old school

Girls schools are classically cheaper than the boys equivalent.
