how do I get my chocolate

We have house guests, they arrived two days ago. They have two giant packets of duty free chocolate which I KNOW is for me. It’s currently in their room on the dresser. They haven’t given it to me yet, fine.

we were at the supermarket earlier and I tried to buy myself some chocolate and they literally launched themselves in front of me and shouted ‘nonono no need- I have bought you some chocolate’. Great! I didn’t get it wrong. Looking forward to it.

we are now all watching a film and I want some chocolates. They haven’t given it to me. Really wish I would I just bought my own How do I politely acquire it?

If you know them well enough for them to stay in your house can't you say something like "I'm desperate for a bit of chocolate - you mentioned earlier you had some for me - please could we open it or did you have a particular time in mind?"

"Where's the chocolate that you said you bought for me?"

Fuck me, stuff of nightmares that. I also can't think of a non awkward way of going about getting your hands on it

"You know when I was going to buy that chocolate today? It was for Chocolate Time. And that time has come. What do you have for me?"

I do think 'Chocolate Time' should become official...

'You can never have too much chocolate' as you offload the shelf into your trolley.

you could have just said'im nipping out fir CHOCOLATE, can I get you anything?'

in the hope of promoting them to fetch it.

or asked them if they were playing hide & seek with the chocolate they mentioned earlier.

@Pinkpinkpink15 this thread is 2 months old, I’m sure OP has had her chocolate fix by now.
