There is a house down the road who pretty much everyday ride their motorbikes/scramblers/whatever they've purchased this time up and down the road. Really fast and really loud. It does my bloody head in to be honest ! If I reported it would anything be done ?
Sometimes it's happening up until 10.30pm at night and if you know how loud bikes are, and how small the road is then you can imagine it's so loud and wakes the kids up !

Do you live in my village! One of these guys goes by past midnight. The other 20 pulled out of the left right in front of me,had to slam the brakes on...still had my hand on the horn, when the second one came out,no looking or indicating, gave me the middle finger. Went straight out and across the next road....no looking, slowing down or indicating there either. My DH was doing our front garden recently, told him to slow down!he nips round the speed bumps. Frankly don't think the police would be interested.

This is what I'm thinking, they aren't going to be bothered until god forbid somebody is knocked down by one ! It's like they purposely speed up when they get to this road because it's one straight road, it's a residential road with houses everywhere ! They should be slowing right down not speeding up. It really pisses me off

I read recently that the government are looking into reducing the noise levels of souped up cars/bikes. Can’t come soon enough for me because I hear the odd one or two and hate it. I’m very judgy and always think badly of people who ride in /on them.
If it was a regular occurrence near me I’d certainly be contacting the police I’d probably look on the internet to arm myself with information incase they tried to fob me off.

I read that too but doubt the government will act fast. REPORT, Write to MP , etc. people need to complain because even when people are killed it takes a long time before anything is done about a problem.

I actually work (volunteer) for a local councillor,he said he would be happy to speak to the police on my behalf, but requires photos, video evidence. That's really difficult, they go by so quickly. Also worried about any come back, because they know where we live,as my DH was doing our front garden when the usual suspect whizzed by.
