What to do with unreachable sill- home decoration idea

We have a stairwell with a very high window and the window sill gets so dusty and grotty (dead flies etc). It’s very visible from the top of the stairs and always looks awful. Can’t be reached by hoover and can just about reach with brush or long handled duster but only just when dangerously hanging off the banister so isn’t done often.
We are decorating the hall soon and will have ladders to paint. Is there any ideas anyone has we could put on the windowsill or anything to stop it looking so grotty? Anyone have a similar high windowsill and have a good solution for cleaning? Thanks!

I’ve got a very long handled feather duster that I can use from the landing. It’s a pain to clean the window too and we have to use a long pole with a wet cloth on the end to do that.

I don’t know of anything else that would work.

Aldi had those extendable dusters that you can change the angle of the head for awkward areas.

I have 12ft high ceiling in my utility and the stairwell is very high too, the duster reaches ceiling easily, it just about reached the furthest part of the stairwell.

Not expensive, £3.99 I think.
