I can't FUCKING stand the noise!!!

It's bad at the best of times, but today has been FUCKING HELL!!

Neither DC are well at the moment, both have a heavy cold. 3y/o must have said 'Mum' 65,000,000 times today, even when I was looking directly at them! 18 months old has done nothing but SCREAM, NON-STOP for the past 50 minutes and now the fucking cat is meowing constantly in my face for attention.

I want to scream, cry, run away and fucking explode all at the same time!!!

Sucks to be you right now

pizzaHeart · 10/09/2023 19:43

are you on your own OP? Any chance of going for a walk/ hiding in the bathroom for a bit or at least putting them in front of tv?

ReeseWitherfork · 10/09/2023 19:45

Oh OP I’ve been there.
Noise cancelling headphones?
Can you put some happy music on loudly? This is what I tend to do. If I can’t make the noise stop, I just try and drown it out.

edit: typo

I totally get this, it’s so hard and you are not alone 🌼
I hope you can grab 5 min, even if to sob into a pillow, which can be very cathartic
Empathy and hugs x
