Bugger all but a brief shower in Wiltshire ☹️

Heavily pregnant and got caught in a massive thunderstorm and downpour that lasted well over an hour! We were out walking too 😂 got absolutely drenched but it was a blessed relief from the heat of yesterday. (NE)

I am v jealous (SE). I can’t wait for this weather to break!

north northants and we got two rumbles of thunder followed by a sort of rainstorm - all over in half an hour! However looking north over Leicester it looked really dark and stormy so maybe we just missed out?

We had one like that a few years ago..... it was something else. We named it the "Freaky Lightening Cloud" I'm sure there's a more technical name.

We've been away on a three night break in north Devon. We'd been travelling home for about 10 mins and it started to pour. People who we know still in the area said they'd had a thunderstorm, so we dodged that one nicely.

Back home now and plants desperately need watering. Water butt is empty but I'm hanging on until tomorrow morning before I start drawing it off the tap.

We were on our way back from a weekend in Cumbria on a motorbike and got the one that end then another humdinger as we got near to home two very soggy bikers and it wasnt fun but normally if im indoors i love a thunderstorm
