Abroad and anxious

Hello,

I'll start off by saying I am suffering badly with anxiety and have been for some time and know that I need to do something about this when I get back to the UK.

My problem is that I'm currently abroad in the Algarve in Portugal and have developed a real fear of an earthquake happening here sin lce the awful one in Morocco a few days ago. Apparently it was felt as far as here although not where we are.

I don't want this to ruin my holiday but I can't seem to go long during the day without worrying about this and it is ruining things, so much so that I am counting down the days til I leave.

I am no earthquake expert at all and don't want to Google things due to the worry of going down a massive rabbit hole.

I know im probably being silly and suppose I'm just looking for some reassurance from anyone local/expert of these types of things!

Thanks for reading and for any advice or reassurance given xx

Think this. It's it likely to happen- no
Can you do anything about it - no
The best thing you can do is enjoy your holiday.
Do not let this ruin your holiday
