What's your favourite brand of period pants?

I have some M&S ones, which are okay, but with the various brands out there I wondered what other people think.

Also, what about bikini bottoms? TIA

I have cheeky PP and they crinkled after a while. Much prefer the M&S ones

TheHorneSection · 10/09/2023 10:11

Modibodi, but they are expensive. DD has just started using them, she’s had a pair of my Modibodi I barely used, and she says they feel much more comfortable than the M&S ones I panic bought for her.

allofthelove · 10/09/2023 10:19

ModiBodi , I used them prior to getting the coil . Now my daughter uses them , has been for a while . They are quite expensive but she comfortable and happy in them no leaks . She's autistic and these have been absolute game changer for us. I'm so pleased these exist otherwise the last year and a bit would have been stressful.

Modibodi, follow them on Facebook to see when they have a sale on and stock up then. The M&S ones I bought were absolutely rubbish, even the Primark ones were better.

cheezncrackers · 10/09/2023 17:04

Right, might be time to invest a pair of Modibodis then. Thanks!

I've got merino modi bodies and I've put my fingers through the merino at the hips hoicking them down on both pairs.

I've got some Wuka seamless ones that have come apart at the heat-sealed seams.

The M&S ones are good and have survived.

And I recently got some snuggs active ones which are sturdy and I'm really pleased with.

Beware horse riding in them (all types): the seam across the back has caused me blisters several times! (Including today!)

Retrievemysanity · 10/09/2023 17:16

Cheeky and primark ones have worked well for me and teen DD

minuette1 · 10/09/2023 17:22

I have the Primark ones and they work perfectly fine. I haven't tried any other brands to compare them to, but they are comfy and do the job so I can't see the need to get the more expensive ones.

yoshiblue · 10/09/2023 18:03

I second Primark, much prefer them to M&S (and I ordered some branded ones at Tu Sainsburys and sent back)

Mauricemossy · 10/09/2023 18:08

Depends on your flow...I had wuka. Fabulous for really heavy flow...now I use m&s but my flow is way lighter

Moomin37 · 10/09/2023 18:14

I have the M&S ones which seem great, but I haven't tried any other brands.

Oddsocks55 · 10/09/2023 18:16

Modibodi and wuka. I've not tried any others, but these ones have worked well

lilyblue5 · 10/09/2023 18:19

Modibody or Here we Flo

APurpleSquirrel · 10/09/2023 18:21

Modibodi are good but expensive; Love Luna by TU at Sainsbury's are good & cheaper.

DumpedByText · 10/09/2023 18:32

Modibodi and Hey Girls, my DD (16) has only ever used period pants and swears by these two brands. She's tried Wuka, they are OK for lighter days but the other two brands never leak, even on heavy days.

They are expensive but so worth it in the long run.
