How did you celebrate your 25th?

We mark 25 years of marriage next week and we are celebrating by going camping for a week on the north tip of Vancouver Island.
We we get back, we will go for a nice supper out with family and friends.

I'm just curious as to what others did? Or plan to do?

Nothing, H forgot and wouldn't open my gift ( weekend away without kids) or open my card because he didn't get me one.
I really hope there are some comments of lovely celebrations

We did a Caribbean cruise followed by a weeks stay in a lovely all inclusive hotel on Barbados.

Party with all family and friends

We’re renting a huge house in a beautiful part of the country for a week, big enough for all our adult kids and their families. We’re having a really special dinner on the night of our anniversary and a week long chill out.

Ours was in 2021, so there were still some Covid restrictions. Our original plan was to go to Australia where we both have family, but Australia was closed. We had a lovely holiday in our own country, with a week near the sea and a week with close friends who no longer live nearby. We had a fabulous meal out on the night!

Sounds like some great times were has!

It's strange, sometimes it feels like it's only been a few years, maybe six or seven, other times it feels like forty!
