Tide times, when to go…

Basically I want to go beach-combing with my son tomorrow, but at high tide the waves come right to the end of the beach. Based on these tide times when would you go?

In the afternoon?

CurryandSnuggle · 09/09/2023 21:09

Sorry I meant the afternoon but what time. Lowest tide is 3pm. Thinking maybe 12pm. Just don’t want to get caught out!

Caught out by what? I don't understand

F0XCUB · 09/09/2023 21:11

How long will you be at the beach? I live along the coast a bit

OhNoForever · 09/09/2023 21:11

If you want to beach comb surely you go at low tide?

WonThisNameInARaffle · 09/09/2023 21:13

Go after lunch and you'll be worn out by 4.

BotterMon · 09/09/2023 21:15

1pm

@BotterMon @WonThisNameInARaffle thinking you’re right, 1ish is probably about right as it’s probably safer to go on a falling tide then right at the point of low tide, and by the time it’s starts rising we’ll have had enough lol. Thank you 🙂

@F0XCUB its just at this particular bit of beach I am worried we could get cut off by the tide but we want to go to this beach as it’s known for fossils.

Hope we find something 🙂
