Unopened Christmas presents

Is there anywhere I can donate these to disadvantaged children for this Xmas ?
Makes me so ashamed to say ds has a few unopened boxes from last Xmas, slime sets etc
I don't want to see them go to waste

Most local independent radio stations are on the Cash 4 Kids group and they do something called Mission Christmas. This scheme collects brand new toys and books for disadvantaged children. The donations get handed out in time for Christmas Day so that every child gets a gift from Santa and there's usually a call out for volunteers to wrap the gifts the week before Christmas. You just leave the items at the official drop off points from mid November - ours is our local Sainsbury's.
Last year I donated toys, books and toiletry sets to our local Women's Refuge organisation. Otherwise I donate to a decent charity shop.

Loads of places around me take them.
Each local authority put a call out in the run up to Christmas for presents for disadvantaged children and adults.
I’ve been in the same boat where DS has not even looked at some presents or had no interest and some were duplicates. I’ve dropped off to collection points. I’ve also taken books/toys he has outgrown but still look new.
Maybe contact your local council or ask on the local Facebook page.
We also have local groups in our town who collect presents/food for those who need it locally.

That's great both, thank you.
It makes me wonder why I bother buying anything to be honest ! I know kids don't understand how privileged they are but Jesus, to not open something is just bad

I have dramatically cut down on the stocking fillers for this reason . Shopping centres often have drop off points
