How does PayPal credit work in real life

So I just agreed to it as it gave me £20 off a purchase. Can I just pay the balance immediately? I don't plan on using it regularly as interest rate is high it was for the offer. I did read through - am assuming people do this?

You can pay it off straight away, I sometimes use it

Oh brilliant thanks. There was a little bit in the t&c about excluding promotional offers from something and I wanted to check

I've never had a problem paying straight off, I think with mine it's 4 months interest free though so I've occasionally used it and made sure I've paid it off before the 4 months is up

It's interest free for 4 months and gives protection where your debit card wouldn't. I.e under £100 I got caught out in a scam and PayPal refunded it straightaway with no form filling like a cc company would want.

Oh amazing sounds like I made the right decision. I bought a lovely dress I was ummming about and it cost £50 instead of £70
