I live in an area where parents are a touch… competitive about education, and am being constantly asked about whether or not we will be signing my child up
forma prep school, which one, what age etc.
The cost is currently (and it seems to increase above inflation annually) >£21,000 a year.
We also live in the catchment of two outstanding state primaries.
Whats the rationale exactly - a smoother route to an academic private secondary?
