Tips for plane journey with small child

Travelling on a plane for the first time with my 3.5 year old in November (and also a 6 month old). Does anyone have any tips to help the experience?

I haven’t gone home since my oldest was born as I was scared. So any help
much appreciated!

A new surprise toy/book each hour/ half hour. Maybe wrap them too.

a mini Yoto player or a tablet with headphones will be your best friend.

let the 3yr old burn off energy in the airport before hand.

Iplayer app, then download a selection of cartoon onto the device so they work without Internet.

I've just done this! It wasn't as bad as I thought. How long is the flight, and which airport are you flying from?
