Yes they're good, I just bought one off Amazon, can't remember the brand, it wasn't expensive.

Wigglypasta · 08/09/2023 17:18

My physio recommended a tennis elbow support strap which I bought on amazon for about £8. It was a solid plastic C sort of shape with an elastic velcro strap. It definitely helped. I also switched to an ergonomic mouse for the PC which was so much more comfortable.

I got one of the tennis elbow velcro supports from amazon it was brilliant. Placed it about two inches below my elbow joint and it meant I could carry on lifting dumbells.

The physio was brilliant too. I only have it fleetingly now.

Dm has used one of those for 30+ years while playing tennis. She finds it really good.

Also had a physio tell me to get one of these yesterday.
Any recommendations?

Cured mine by switching to a vertical mouse for computer work and using a red Theraband flexbar.

@luluvaflatwhite what do you do with the flexbar? My appointment was a phone physio, didn't feel very helpful. Literally told me to buy a band and let them know if it still hurts in 2 months. Already been in agony for weeks. Keep waking in the night with it, and able to do less and less

DobbleDobble · 08/09/2023 22:08

I bought one and also a tens machine.
The tens machine helped the most.
was about £30 used morning an evening.

You basically hold the bar out in both hands and twist at the wrist of the painful arm like revving a motorbike. A friend recommended and it worked after a few weeks. I didn't use a physio at all.

Nobodyheree · 16/09/2023 12:15

I got apparently tennis elbow and the pain horrendous.
GP was not interested so I was sent to physios who said it’s tennis’s elbow.
The exercises he gave me make it even more sore.

longtompot · 16/09/2023 13:14

I bought one of these when I had tennis elbow and boy the difference it made! I could lift things up without having to use my other hand as a support. I really recommend it
