Total shit morning in which Ive had to drive 90 minutes to get 4 children to 3 different schools in two locations because one bus was cancelled without warning and the alternate from another village was running so late they wouldn't have made it in til mid morning.
The total crap local bus company have had a mass walkout due to dept closure and relocation of drivers meaning everybody has been screwed today. I've passed half a dozen kids on rural roads waiting at a bus stop for a bus that will never come and the app hasn't been updated in time.
I found out via twitter and have had to cancel stuff and scramble to the bus stop collecting my son, our neighbours son and another boy who was stranded and drop them into town for their two schools, then back out to the village primary for the youngest.
The roads are shit as SE water are digging everything up. The traffic is shit due to the time of day and I have fucking had enough.
I've come to Costa to drink vast amounts of strong coffee to try and gear myself into work mode all the while knowing I might very well have to do the whole thing again later.
Fucking hell, I am done.
