Does anyone else find the crisps “chipsticks” are very hit and miss?

I can get a 6 pack and every one in there is crisp and tasty. Then another 6 pack, might contain all 6 packets stale.

It puts me off them until months later I try again, and I get nice fresh ones, buy another pack and it’s all stale. Why?

I haven't really noticed the fresh/stale thing, however I do know that Chipsticks are disappointingly skinny these days. Back in the 80s they used to be so fat!

I find them reliably revolting.

Yes, I’ve noticed this too. I still mourn the loss of the ready salted flavour.

Although bigger bags supermarket own brand ones are way better.
