Do you find the funny or a little distasteful?

This is a TV ad, not rude etc. I'm just interested to get other people's POV

I think it's fine. Lighthearted but not disrespectful.

It's odd, but not distasteful.

I suppose it's better than blue liquid being poured onto a pad. I like the strategy behind it, but I think the execution (mermaid) is a bit clumsy. If you're pad is clumpy and leaky you don't feel like a mermaid, maybe an orangutan or a whale.

It's in reference to the 80's film Splash I believe, absolutely fine.

I guess some might be offended as they might think it means women with bladder leaks smell like fish. Personally I think it means they feel wet but I can see how people would think the former.

I hate visual 'comedy' so it annoys me for that reason alone.
