I know people say it isn’t up to the school what age a child can walk home alone but has anyone actually gone against what the school have said and what happened? My kids school doesn’t allow it till year 6 which imo is quite late as I’ve heard some school allow from as young as year 3 (I’m not saying I want a child that young to walk home alone personally) They also don’t allow siblings to collect unless they are 16. Has anyone actually challenged the schools rules?
