Help with Canary Islands holiday

I'm looking at booking a solo 2 weeks away in the Canary Islands for some winter sun in Feb.

Ive been looking at Easyjet and Jet2 holidays but here are just so many resorts! (I've never booked a resort holiday before). Can anyone recommendation somewhere quiet, relaxing and clean? Probably 3-4 star. Self catering would be a bonus. (Bit wary of Airbnbing alone).

I also love cycling. I'm not a super hardcore cyclist, but would like to be within access of some gentle-ish leisure rides.

Puerto Rico/Amadores is nice.

Ambassador Apartments in Tenerife are in a quiet area. They have a shared garden and are within walking distance of the botanic garden, which is a lovely spot for reading or a picnic.
