DH is controlling about the phones and tech we have in the family. He changed me and the DC to a crappy bundle and network.
We share a laptop which he is possessive about and checks my search history. So I want to change my phone and buy my own laptop, for me that he can't access now that I have a well paid job.
I know there's huge relationship problems but I'd rather keep this thread on practical advice please. I am thinking about leaving and this is part of getting myself self sufficient.
I'm not very tech savvy so the advice I'm after is what is a simpleish inexpensive but reliable phone and also laptop. The idea is that I don't need to ask for his help.
My phone is largely for WhatsApp and general internet use. Laptop will be used for photos, general home docs and writing CV.
