We have discovered recently that the utility/broadband etc. providers have a load of bots who produce letters and bills by themselves and even cut the broadband off today in spite of the bill being paid. Basically they're doing their own thing in their own little bureaucratic world.
It's driving us mad 🥴 dh will phone up and sort something out with a human, but the bots are still doing what they do in the background, hence no internet.
British Gas bill went from £600 odd to them owing us £40 odd after the actual meter readings and 15 phonecalls later to argue the toss.
AI is going to end us all by driving us mad with mountains of Kafkaesque bureaucracy. Never experienced anything like it 😂
