Can you suggest me some ‘brain food’ podcasts?

Does anyone have any good podcast suggestions for news, tech, politics, current affairs? I don’t have the time to read at the moment and my subscriptions are going untouched. Some of my magazines have supporting podcasts- but I just wanted to see if anyone had any personal recommendations!

or a good YouTube channel I can stick on the TV whilst I clean the living room?

The Rest is Politics, the infinite monkey cage, Empire, Zoe nutrition all really good

HumanBurrito · 06/09/2023 18:47

maybe a bit too history-orientated for you but History of the world in 100 objects is definitely brain food!

The News Agents is my new favourite

Any 'Naked Scientist' pods you fancy the sound of
99% Invisible - documentary series on the design of things
Radiolab - documentary series on basically anything
No Such Thing As A Fish - facts, comedy and comedy facts by the QI researchers

Real Dictators is bleak but a fascinating series on iPlayer. The Napoleon one in particular is worth a listen.
