Natural ingredient body lotion?

Could anybody recommend one? I read a scary online comment about what we put on our skin and it's absorption and have decided to replace my lotions with their list of 800 ingredients. Thank you!

I’ve made my own before. Get a giant tub of Shea butter, cocoa butter from Amazon - heat gently, and mix in whatever else you want. I’ve added in Vit E oil, rose hip oil and a bit of lavender if you want fragrance. For face ones, I also opened up some Omega 3 capsules I had lying around and shoved them in too. 😀

or if you can’t be arsed with the faff, look at organic companies - Dr Haushka is one I can think of.

just get a jar of coconut oil. There's a lot of scaremongering about synthetics but actually they are safety tested to the Nth degree before they are allowed anywhere near skin. Natural does not always mean safe.

Both really useful replies thank you. Didn't think about making my own!

Shea butter and/or coconut oil. The latter you can get from tesco for about £3/jar. It is oily though. Shea butter has a much higher melting point and stays put a bit better but you might not like the smell. Or you can try off the shelf from Faith in Nature or Beauty Kitchen and the like. You will find a huge range online and Waitrose stock a decent range (dr hauschka etc) in their bigger stores.

Oh, and don't use coconut oil on your face - it has big molecules which can clog your pores up and cause an outbreak.
