Not sure if I’ll buy this one in hardback but probably in paperback. Have been a Jilly fan since my teens but didn’t enjoy the last one and really not interested in football. Anyone else?

Same. I also enjoyed the books set in the music and art worlds, but football is not something I’m especially interested in reading about even if it does feature Rupert CB, who must surely be in his seventies by now?

Massive Jilly fan, massive football fan - fear Jilly's "expertise" lay in horsey world in 80's & 90's.
Will 100% be buying but most likely either on kindle or for my mum for Christmas & then borrowing it 🤣

Her books got too formulaic for me about ten books ago. Loved her early writing.
