Advice for Covid newbie

I tested positive on Friday for the first time, my temperature is now just a tad over normal, the headache is almost gone so why am I lying on the bed in a wet towel unable to dry myself because I washed my hair?
I’m having to force myself to eat - bananas and hard boiled eggs are just tolerable.
Those who have been there and done it, what should be my expectations and how can I help myself?
So not to drip feed, I’ve been existing on adrenaline, caffeine, iffy food and little sleep since Easter while looking after my ill DM, is it just because I’ve stopped and my body realises what I’ve been doing to it?

It sounds like pretty typical symptoms for mild covid (mild does not mean trivial, it just means that you don't require hospital)

Fatigue is a very common symptom, and the only thing you can do is rest. And remember it can take a considerable time to recover (you can't just push through it IYSWIM)

Thank you for your messages, my DM, just out of hospital, tested positive on Sunday and has a runny nose! I’m still having to rest after doing anything and slept all afternoon in anticipation of a Tesco delivery!

I have it for the first time, still have a tight chest a week later. Very tired, rest as much as you can x
