Questions you’d like answered about TV shows

Lighthearted…

So I’ve just finished series 2 of ‘And Just Like That’, actually enjoyed much more than I thought but expectations were low. Anyway, in the works of CB ‘I couldn’t help but wonder’ how bloody rich is Carrie meant to be now? I mean both the apartments she bought must have been worth multi millions and she was at a fundraiser where she contributed £100k on PayPal out of embarrassment. I don’t quite remember what Big did for a living but with the lifestyle she’s now got she must have millions and millions knocking about.

Anyone else have any burning questions on any TV mysteries?

That's brilliant - maybe that's what Big did too. I just read that he was an financier - so maybe worked in a VC? Who knows.

Was Big not a banker? He maybe had amazing death in service benefits and life insurance? Also, Carrie had a successful career herself?

I just read her new apartment would cost $4.5 million and her old apartment would probably sell for about $650k and she sold this at a loss to Lisette. CB is now super rich :)

At the very beginning of SATC,they described Big as the next Donald Trump,so.he must have been worth a fair bit
And Carrie wss succesful.with her publishing deals and pod casts etc.

Not a mystery, but I'd like to know if American healthcare is anything like its shown on TV like Chicago med. Where a patient comes in and every possible treatment is available with drs willing to try all routes.

I'd been watching a lot of clips on my FB video feed but finding them quite hard to watch now the NHS has given up on treating a family members cancer even though proton therapy is a thing for their type of cancer.

Why did the Ewings all live at Southfork - did no-one want to move out and have their own place? It's not like they couldn't afford it.

You have to.have insurance so.i.imagine it can be excellent but not so much if you can't afford it
My oldest son was recently diagnosed with Diabetes and im on an American diabetes Facebook group.honestly its scary people are using old out of date insulin pens because they are so scared of not being able to afford them ,now I realise the NHS has many problems but I don't have to.worry about being able to.afford my sons insulin ,without it he would die .

I suppose that's it isn't it, if they had full Bupa cover with cancer cover they could get it here too, but because we tend to rely on the NHS it's not something you think you have to have. I imagine if they were American they would have health insurance given it seems to be fairly necessary over there

I used to think that was the most amazing house I'd ever seen when I was little and probably would haven never moved out. Did Pam and Bobby not live somewhere else though?

I think Pam only moved out when her and Bobby split up. Gary managed to cut the apron strings when he moved to Knots Landing tho

I'm curious why production decided to fill the cabin with sand for that beach episode of Friends. It didn't add much to the episode and just seems like so much faff.

from the show dark angel, col lydecker wanted to take manticore to the next stage, stage 3 i think it was, but it didn't seem to be detailed in the show as to what stage 3 was

Did anyone ever watch Crashing on C4 with Phoebe Waller Bridge and the guy from Bridgerton? Really great and I got really invested in it when I found it on Netflix, ended up a real cliffhanger and then it was never recommissioned. eternally annoying
