Anyone else take their kid to school today just to discover it's a teacher training day?

Tell me I'm not alone! First day back at work today after a fortnight off, had so much to do (luckily WFH), stbex husband threw a strop at me and left home mid meeting. Thank god for understanding colleagues. And coffee. And kids TV.

As a teacher I can assure you we used to have at least one parent turn up every INSET day thinking school was on - you’re not alone 😄

I spotted the lack of cars from a distance so my reputation as an organised human being is still intact!

Not this year - my DC have left school.

But I’ve been both 1 day early and 1 day late in the past. 😳
